Aizpea Murphy (she/they) is a full spectrum doula, researcher and writer currently living in Oakland, CA.
She’s interested in family abolition, utopian visions of care, feminist science studies & queer negativity.
They are currently applying to Sociology PhD programs to pursue a career in research within medical sociology with an emphasis on reproductive healthcare, access & justice. She also hopes to pursue research into care work, the family and healthcare under late capitalism.
In their free they enjoy spending time with their cat, sewing and reading anything and everything about queerness, families, love & more broadly, emotions.
